Steeton'S game against Marsden had to be abandoned after 83 minutes, but they were 3-1 down.

The referee called a halt to the game as the pitch began to freeze in the late afternoon, but by then the damage had already been done.

The defeat, coupled with a 4-2 victory for Altofts, mean the Summerhill Lane club had slipped six points behind the leaders.

James Gill scored Steeton's goal with Robert Ramsden, James Walsh and Matthew Butters on target for Marsden.

Silsden's Premier Division game against Otley Town was postponed. Silsden Reserves secured a 6-3 victory over Ovenden with Adam Hook scoring a hat-trick. Andy Nelson added a double-strike and Graham Whitaker was also on target.

Steeton Reserves pulled off a 4-3 victory over Rowdon Old Boys despite being 2-0 down at the break. They powered into the attack in the second half with Joley Ali scoring two and further goals from Paul Goodwin and Alan Nettleton.
