A young internet entrepreneur who hails from Keighley is helping members of the public to become screen stars.
Samuel-Dean McMurran has devised a website that provides wannabes with the right contacts to land a spot on their favourite game shows, DIY make-over programmes and reality TV hits like Big Brother.
The 22-year-old, who was born and raised in Keighley, has already seen the business he started, and continues to run, from his bedroom in South London flourish.
The website at www.beonscreen.com provides people with updated information about which shows are seeking contestants and how to get in touch with the production companies for the likes of Blind Date and Changing Rooms.
He says: "The production companies love it because people aren't ringing up and jamming their switchboards and members of the public love it because they can see what programmes are on the lookout for people to take part.''
