Brian Noble today admitted: I want to be happy but I am a perfectionist.

The Bulls coach was left disappointed by the Bulls' start to Sunday's Odsal victory despite the 40-point winning margin over Halifax.

Bradford once again conceded soft tries leaving Noble, and the team, disappointed.

"Collectively we are not happy about certain aspects of our defence," said Noble, who was delighted with the performance of a number of individuals, particularly hat-trick scoring veteran Jimmy Lowes.

"We set ourselves very high standards at this club and are disappointed when we don't achieve them.

"No disrespect to Halifax, but if we had played like that against a stronger club we may have had some problems."

Although the Bulls have lost only once this season, Noble is not happy that they have conceded 78 points in their opening three Super League fixtures and 118 overall.

"I want to be happy but I am a perfectionist," said Noble, who was once again left with a depleted squad for yesterday's training session. "We gave away the ball too much early on and there were too many penalties. But the good thing is that everything is fixable."

The Bulls went behind to a Martin Moana score and a mixture of knock-ons and poor execution hampered their first half.

That said, a seven-try second half blitz, which included hat-tricks for Lowes and skipper Robbie Paul, ensured there was no doubt over the destination of the two Super League points in a 62-22 victory.
