Queensbury gave visitors Lindley Swifts a real run-around to win 62-6 in a one-sided encounter at Hill Top.

Bury opened up like a house on fire and the contest was well over when they led 22-0 in the opening quarter.

Cousins was in once again on the restart with Hurst adding the extras but Birky then found themselves in deep water when Ovenden hit back to grab a 22-24 lead. Clayton coach Paul Gill believes that two crucial refereeing lapses cost his side a 30-18 defeat against Division One leaders Westgate Redoubt at Lidget Green.
