The Bulls stand second in Super League after a lightning start helped them to a 32-8 win over Warrington at Odsal.

The Wolves failed to touch the ball for nearly 14 minutes as Brian Noble's men blew their visitors out of the water with four tries in 11 minutes.

But they then took the foot off the pedal limping through to victory with five players ending the game with injuries.

"The first 20 minutes I thought we were sensational and the first-half performance was pretty special," said Bulls coach Brian Noble.

"It was a bit of a turnaround for us. We have been having

second-half performances like that but in the second half we had to cope with a lot of adversity after copping a load of injuries again.

"We got a bit disjointed but I am highly delighted with what we came up with.

"We have been working on improving our start to the game and I was delighted how we dealt with that aspect."

He also praised veteran Jimmy Lowes who once again put in a strong performance and Daniel Gartner, who was brilliant in his first game back since flu but limped off with a calf problem.

Wolves coach Paul Cullen praised his side for their resilience in not folding in the face of the enormous Bulls early pressure and admitted Bradford were "red hot" early on.

"I don't think I have ever known a game in which one side didn't touch the ball for the first 15 minutes," he said.

"Bradford were excellent. They had an almost perfect start and we didn't do all that much wrong. I take some positives from the way we restricted them in the second half. We showed some character."

Noble will take stock of his squad at training today ahead of the Challenge Cup semi-final clash with Wigan on Sunday, but is hoping to welcome back Karl Pratt, Shontayne Hape and Mike Forshaw who all missed yesterday's victory.

International second-rower Jamie Peacock, who broke his hand against Hunslet Hawks in the cup, is doubtful to return against a Wigan side who are expected to be without Andy Farrell, Mick Cassidy and Brett Dallas.
