Chris Caisley today proclaimed: We deserve to be in a final.

The Bulls go into Sunday's Challenge Cup semi-final as favourites to beat injury-hit Wigan and the Bradford chairman believes his side deserve another chance at silverware.

"We are a big club and we deserve to be in the final," said Caisley, who is urging Bulls fans to turn out in numbers at the McAlpine Stadium this weekend.

"After the manner of our defeat in last year's Grand Final, we deserve another shot at silverware. A club of our size should be playing in these big games."

Victory on Sunday against the Warriors, who will be without Great Britain skipper Andy Farrell, Mick Cassidy and Brett Dallas, will take the Bulls through to the final on April 26 at the Millennium Stadium.

Wigan are the last team the Bulls defeated to win a domestic trophy back in 2001's Grand Final.

"If we play like we did for the opening 20 minutes on Sunday against Warrington we can beat anyone," declared Caisley.

A final appearance would be the icing on the cake of an impressive start to the season, on and off the field, believes Caisley.

"I have been delighted with the way the Bradford fans have voted with their feet this year," added the former Super League chairman, who has seen more than 50,000 go through the turnstiles at Odsal over the past three games.

"They truly are the best fans in rugby league and we need to reward them with a win on Sunday - I think they deserve that."
