Job prospects in the area are looking healthy, according to a new survey. The poll by recruitment firm Manpower found ten per cent of employers in Yorkshire and Humberside will be taking on staff in the period between April and June. The findings place the area sixth on the regional table, above London and the South East.
Janice Henson, regional Man-power manager, said: "Employment prospects are looking healthy for Yorkshire and Humberside. Despite the uncertainty of the economic climate, confidence is still healthy."
