A year-long appeal for new physiotherapy equipment has hit its £15,000 target.
Physiotherapists started the Help Airedale Physiotherapists Purchase Important Equipment (HAPPIE) campaign last March to buy new equipment for the department.
The £15,000 target has been reached thanks to a donation from the Lodge of the Three Graces at Haworth.
Peter Bateman, a Past Master at the freemasons' lodge, handed over £500 from the lodge and said: "Two-and-a-half years ago I was here doing rehabilitation so I know the benefits that the equipment, and especially a treadmill, can provide."
Senior physiotherapist Helen Moorhouse said: "A treadmill is top of the list.
"But we will be buying other equipment that can be used for physiotherapy and cardiac rehabilitation patients."
