Ilkley AFC 5, Pateley Bridge 1
AN emphatic victory for Ilkley on Tuesday night against a resurgent Pateley Bridge team who were unbeaten since the New Year started.
Ilkley took the lead through top scorer Dale Hoyle after 20 minutes. Ilkley then conceded a sloppy goal on the half hour but Hoyle restored their lead with a deflected shot to give them a 2-1 advantage at the break.
The game was settled early in the second-half when James Wilson scored on 50 minutes after a fine run by Alan Stockdale.
At 3-1 Ilkley began to torment a tiring Pateley side and Knox strode through and rounded the 'keeper to notch number four.
Hughes then scored his second gaol in two games to complete the scoring.
