Silsden go into tonight's County Cup final at Woodlesford, Leeds with the club on an incredible high.

For the first time in the history of Keighley FA one club has won all the major Cup competitions with the Cobbydalers taking an astonishing clean sweep.

The amazing week was given a kick-start when the club's Under-13 team won their cup final at Valley Parade, beating Queensbury Celtic 5-4 on penalties after playing out a 1-1 draw in normal time.

They followed up with the club's senior side taking the Challenge Cup with a 4-1 victory over Keighley Lifts.

Silsden's goals were scored by Jimmy Hedges, Martin Bland, Andy Holden and Gavin Finn, with Russell brown on target for Lifts.

On Tuesday the club's reserve team got in on the act with a 1-0 victory over Cross hills in the Supplementary Cup with Harry Peacock scoring the all-important goal.

On Wednesday it was the run of the club's Bradford Alliance Sunday side to take the honours with a 1-0 victory over Sandy Lane. This time it was Martin Rosser who hit the net to secure victory.

The only team to taste defeat was the club's Under-14 side who were beaten 2-0 by Clifton Rangers after the fastest goal in the West Riding FA's record books.

Clifton scored their first after only 20 seconds and despite an heroic effort Silsden could not break down their defence. They went on to score a second and take the West Riding Junior Trophy

Earlier Silsden stayed on course to lift the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division trophy after moving three points ahead of rivals Brighouse Town with a 4-1 home victory over Ovenden West Riding.

After a goalless first half Silsden stepped up a gear and with strikes from Jimmy Hedges (2), Jimmy Spencer and Matthew Bland extended their unbeaten league run to 22. Mark Lodge netted a consolation for Ovenden.

Silsden travel to Brighouse on Wednesday for a break-or-make clash and know that Town have been offered a lifeline by officials at the West Riding FA.

They have ordered that the match between Brighouse Town and Hemsworth that was played on February 15 must be replayed. The game was called off after 67 minutes with Hemsworth leading 2-0. At the time the league ruled that the result should stand, but Brighouse have appealed to the FA and have won a replay.

That game will take place at Brighouse on May 10.

Silsden also have a chance to pile even more silverware in the club's groaning trophy cabinet when they take on Wibsey in the League Cup final on May 16.

Silsden and Brighouse Town will meet in the Reserves Divisions Cup final. Silsden beat Littletown 1-0 with a Mark Price goal, while Brighouse Town were 4-2 victors over Hemsworth MW.

Before that there is the little matter of tonight's County Cup clash with Barnoldswick United when Silsden will face a tough task if they are to retain the trophy they won last year.
