Daniel Meegan is looking forward to a career in soccer's big time -- after signing for Leeds United.
Daniel, is just eight years old, but has already been spotted by the Premiership club as one of football's stars of the future.
He has played in midfield with Oakworth Under-8s, where his father, David, was coach. The Leeds scouts have spotted his defensive talents and he is due to be groomed for a place at the back.
He has already started training with Leeds and will be playing 28 games during the next season against many of the top clubs from Newcastle to Leicester with the team based at Leeds' Thorpe Arch training centre.
But it is not Daniel's first tast of the big time, he has also spent time with Manchester United, before signing a contract with the Elland Road club.
Now the Ingrow Primary School pupil hopes that in just a few years time he will be lining up in the club's first team squad.
