COLLINGHAM head the Airedale and Wharfedale Third Teams table with 24 points from their five games.

In second place are Burley with 20 from four and Ilkley with 20 from five follow.

At the bottom Calverley have just one poiunt from four games.

On Sunday Green Lane were dismissed rfor 94 by Kirkstall who went on to win by four wickets despite the efforts of G Dibb who took three for18.

Rawdon set Calverley a target of 124 and then bowled them out for a mere 34 with A Davies claiming a superb six for 11 off nine overs and J Wilkinson (3-15) off six.

Beckwithshaw took all six points against Steeton after dismissing them for 73 with N Downing claiming six for 20.

Downing then opened the innings and hit a match winning 42 not out.

The game between North Leeds and Guiseley was abandoned due to rain without a ball being bowled.

Colton defeated Horsforth by five wickets after dismissing them for 120 with T Horner taking four for 30 and M Towers (3-28).

Colton knocked off the runs in 25.5 overs with opener A Boyle hammering an unbeaten 63.

Burley set a massive target of 207 for eight thanks to some excellent batting from P Healey (33), G Atherton (35), D Thomason (35), K Revis (20) and L Jackson (25).

Otley were then put out for 96 with J Schofield taking three for 16 and John Caddick (3-29).

Collingham and Bilton shared the spoils after their match was rained off with Collingham on 103 for two after 24 overs.

Opener Toby Jacklin had made an unbeaten 50 and Mark Sweeting an unbeaten 43.

Ilkley took all six points from their clash with Knaresborough who were restricted to 115 for nine.

B Greaves bowled well to take four for 15 as did Andrew Rhodes who had three for 25 off eight overs.

Ilkley knocked off the runs nm 23.3 overs thanks to Alex Bailey (34no), P Dawson (29) and Andrew Rhodes (26).
