Bulls chairman Chris Caisley is sick of reading about how quiet the club's supporters are at Odsal.

And he wants Bradford's fans to make some noise at Sunday's Super League home match against Widnes Vikings.

Caisley said: "We have a hard-core away following of between 2,000 and 4,000 and they are very vociferous.

"But I am sick of hearing about how quiet people have been at home matches, although I haven't said that.

"People have been writing letters to the trade press saying how silent our home support is and Sunday's home match against Widnes is a perfect opportunity to start to turn that around.

"Yes, our home results haven't been what we have expected so far this season, but the fans have to understand that no one is more disappointed about that than the players.

"And if the fans can provide more noise on Sunday, then I am sure the players will respond and we can turn Odsal into a place to be feared."

The Bulls have already lost at home this season to London, Wigan and St Helens, but looking at the overall picture Caisley says there isn't one Super League club that wouldn't swap places with the Bulls on results so far this campaign.

He said: "Yes, we have lost an unlikely three games at home - and how do people think the fans of Wigan, St Helens and Leeds feel about losing to Huddersfield? - but we already have the Challenge Cup in the locker and we are lying second in Super League with a game in hand. It is a fabulous position to be in."

Widnes forward Anthony Farrell has been cleared to play in Sunday's match.

The veteran second-rower was sent off in Sunday's win over Hull for a 74th-minute careless high tackle on Dean Treister, and was found guilty of the offence at an RFL disciplinary committee meeting, but escaped further punishment.
