IN the Second Teams League Tom James steered Adel to a six wickets win over Ilkley with a good knock of 74 not out.

Ilkley were dismissed for 141 as R Mumford claimed 4-32. After losing early wickets Steeton recovered to make 225-7 thanks to P Barrett (51), G Harrison (42), A Sewell (39) and M Chapman (31).

Follifoot battled had but had to be content with two points from the draw after replying with 223-8 with good knocks from S Peacock (45), S Mayes (38), P Townsend (28) and M Bailey (28).

Bilton took the points after restricting North Leeds to 199-8. Opener Tim Hollis hit a fine 102 for the Roundhay side. Bilton however gave a solid batting display to wipe off the runs with five wickets in hand. Opener S Clemerson led the way with a good knock of 53.

Another excellent innings of 85 from David Ross saw Guiseley defeat Green Lane by six wickets.

Lane set a target of 233-6 with I Roberts top scoring with 74 and S Parkinson making an unbeaten 70.

Ross then made his former teammates suffer as he shared a first wicket stand of 96 with Southport goalkeeper Steve Dickinson who hit 52.

Otley were dismissed for 151 as Rawdon's Martin Hings took 4-34 off 16.2 overs and J Hughes 4-35 off 13 overs.

Rawdon knocked off the runs for the loss of four wickets with John Statham in top form with an unbeaten 85.

Kirkstall Educational held all the aces in their game with Hall Park dismissing them for 169 as L Mulligan took top billing with a 5-63 return.

Kirkstall then knocked off the runs for the loss of just two wickets with S Paul (76 no) and T Rees (46 no) sharing an un broken third wicket stand of 135.

In Division B Burley's Andy Clarkson scored an excellent 104 as they knocked off the Calverley score of 188.

He was well supported by Nick Cockroft with an unbeaten 37.

Pool held on for a point as they chased a Knaresborough score of 207-4. For Knaresborough opener M Revill made 61 and G Dodds an unbeaten 58. Pool replied with 135-7 as they struggled against the bowling of E Churchill (4-36) and A Prior (3-36).

Colton openers M Horner (85 no) and A Scholes (67 no) knocked off the Olicanians score of 155-8 in 26.4 overs. For Olicanians number nine Kevin Connolly top scored with an unbeaten 43.

Horsforth took full points from their game with Tong Park restricting their visitors to 165-9. Peter Murden was run out after making 42 and S Hiley was not out with 76 for Park. G Procter with 52 helped steer Horsforth to victory.

R Wilkinson claimed 5-67 off 25 overs for Pool Mills as Woodhouse made 212-8. Mills fell for 116 in reply.
