Chicken carcasses spilled from an articulated lorry near to a zebra crossing, in South Street, Keighley, on Wednesday.
The carcasses had poured out of the top of the trailer from beneath a red tarpaulin sheet. Carcasses landed in a large heap on either side of the cab, which was pulling a trailer with a load labelled "not for human consump-tion." The lorry had been travelling towards Oakworth Road roundabout. Traffic was reduced to a single lane. Bradford Council cleansing department was called out to clear the mess.
