CRAVEN'S Little Red Bus will take to the road shortly.
The new dial-a-ride service starts on Monday July 28, and will offer extensive opportunities for individuals who have no access to suitable transport.
A new co-ordinator will deal with requests for transport and she can be contacted on 0800 917 4768.
The launch follows North Yorkshire County Council's successful bid to the Government's Rural Bus Challenge Competition.
County Coun John Fort said: "Dial-a-ride services will be available to anyone who has a genuine problem getting about and taking part in everyday essential activities because of a lack of suitable transport."
