Menston regained second place as they chase Bilton in the Division A title hunt. Gary Thompson made 59 as Menston made 223-4 against Green Lane with Richard Taylor (49 no) and Grant Bell (55 no) also making useful contributions.

Lane held on at 192-9 to claim two points thanks to a good knock of 54 from former Menston player Craig Chaplin and 41 from Steve Hargreaves.

Bilton are determined to better their runners-up spot of last season and they notched another win - this time by a seven wicket margin at Hall Park.

Luke Jarvis returned 4-24 to keep Park in check and then Steve Phillips made an unbeaten 73 as Bilton romped to victory and moved 15 points clear at the top.

North Leeds are in third place after a three wicket win over Steeton. Alex Howarth and Gary Boulton both made 59 as Steeton totalled 231-7 but North Leeds knocked off the runs with Andy Alred making 50.

Guiseley crashed by five wickets to Beckwithshaw for whom Chris Cann hammered 117.

Kirkstall and Rawdon continue to set the pace in Division B with further victories but Burley are hanging in there hoping for one of them to slip.

A promising start to Burley's innings with Richard Brook flourishing against the seam bowlers withered away with his dismissal. Burley's total of 201 looked well in range as Knaresborough reached 100 without loss but some steady bowling from Ben Harris and fine fielding clawed Burley back into the game. It went down to the last ball with a four needed to tie but Burley's home crowd relaxed as the delivery was entered into the scorebooks as a dot ball!

A 7-52 return by Sean Nesbitt saw Kirkstall bowl out Bardsey for 191 but Neil Walmsley then helped Kirkstall to victory with a fine knock of 53.

A superb 64 from Bruce Percy allied to a brilliant 70 from Kenrick Marshall took Rawdon to a score of 260-8. This was too big a target for Tong Park who fell for 129 as Marshall took 4-30 off 15 overs and Percy 4-32 off nine.

Jon Hughes hit a magnificent 164 to help Ilkley to victory over Silsden. Ilkley won by 98 runs.

Hughes opened with Australian Simon Stolcman who made 21. He then shared a fourth wicket stand of 198 with Richard Simpson who made 88. Young Andrew Rhodes took 4-53 off nine overs as Silsden were dismissed for 211.

Skipper Andy Moulds steered Harden to a tie against Pool with his unbeaten 40. Harden made 246-7 and Pool lost nine wickets in notching the same score. For Pool opener Richard Carlton hit 53, David Murphy 57, Oliver Wilhelm 74 and Mark McEneaney 42.

In Division C Skipton are hoping to mark their 150th anniversary with promotion. Their aspirations remain on course following their nine wickets win over Olicanians. Robert Dilger continued his sensational form with his season's best bowling figures of 5-25 as Olicanians fell for 110. Kevin Owens hit 66 to lead Skipton home.
