Oxenhope Under-15s have completed a league and cup double after beating Upper Wharfedale in the final of the Raleigh Hargreaves Cup.
In a close fought game Upper Wharfedale reached 143 with William Armitage taking three wickets and Anthony Geraghty claiming two stunning catches.
In reply Oxenhope started well with captain Liam Dyson scoring 33. A mini-collapse left Oxenhope needing eight to win with only two wickets left and overs running out.
Number 10 batsman David Burrows defied fielders surrounding the bat to calmly stoke two fours and win the game.
The victory crowned an undefeated season for Oxenhope and the club's Under-13s aim to emulate the older team. They have won their cup competition and are currently top of the league with three games to go.
