Long serving members of Glusburn Cricket Club officially opened their new £220,000 pavilion last week.

Joyce Riddiough, Hugh Stephenson and Richard Smith who have been connected with the club for decades performed the opening ceremony, with the building being dedicated to generations of cricketers to come.

Club chairman Geoff Seal said everyone at the club was grateful for the work which has gone into making the building a reality and were now committed to make it work for the benefit of the whole community.
