Cullingworth's second wicket partnership all but sewed up their game at home to Long Lee. Adie Powis and Craig Ratcliffe put on 96 runs before Powis was out for 62. Ratcliffe reached 67, taking the total to 146 and the team moved along to 213-7. Chris Taylor took 4-88 off 19 overs.

The Keighley side was dismissed for 139 with Richard Ayrton and Paul Stowell both scoring 29 as Chris Welch finished with 4-23

Leaders Embsay managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat down at Bradley. Batting first the Shires Lane side enjoyed an opening stand of 90 by Mark Tucker 54 and Simon Bailey 47, but then struggled to find any rhythm as only Paul Barwick 19no reached double figures.

The cause was helped by 32 extras, which took the score to 170, with Tim Rudden 6-34 and John Duffy 3-42 being the pick of the bowlers.

The home side's reply was progressing nicely on 101-2 when Barwick entered the attack and in a five over spell whipped out the two batsmen going well at a cost of 13 runs. The initiative was still with Bradley, but accurate bowling and fine fielding saw them fall six runs short. Mike Milbourne made 44 and Neil Andrews 34 as Stephen Speak bowled through to finish with 4-53.

Thornton called the shots on their first visit to Denholme. They posted 216-7 with Adam Zampatti leading the way with 79, assisted by Mark Procter with 52. The home side could only muster 103 in reply.

Bottom side Skipton CI are having no luck at all. They entertained Cowling and were rolled over for 92, Shaun Williamson top scoring with 23 as Martyn Dalby took 6-47 and Steve Richardson 4-37. The South Craveners cantered to a seven-wicket win, with Gareth Frankland making 30no.

Leaders of Division Two, Cononley, crashed to defeat at home to Foulridge, who move into second spot in the table. The Noyna side went first and made 184 with Phillip Swarbrick scoring 32 and Matthew Lutz 30 as Matt Town took 6-76 and I Thompson 4-19. The home side fell 64 runs short as T Stephenson and Ryan Duerden claimed three wickets each before David Wallbank whipped the tail out to finish with 3-1 off 11 balls. Steve Filkin was top scorer with 33no.

The Red Rose side now go joint second with Glusburn who enjoyed a fine victory against Pendle Forest. The Fence side could only muster 93 as Simon Hagerty claimed 6-23. Phil Shackleton (34) ensured the points came back to Yorkshire with a six-wicket win.

Second placed Sutton also slipped up, going down by four wickets at Airedale. The visitors made 184-9 with Justin Holdsworth scoring 44 as M Rizwam claimed 4-40 and Matthew Cox 3-63. Phil Loftus was the backbone of the reply, making 81no as the Keighley side reached their target in the 41st over.

Chatburn also close up as they saw off visitors Gargrave who made 153-7 with T Malik scoring 83. The Ribblesdale side reached the target in the 38th over with seven wickets to spare. Steve Procter with 64 and Paul Craig, 42, put on 86 for the first wicket.

Carleton had a fine 32-run victory over Ingrow in a high scoring game at Ramper Park. The homesters plundered 259-9 in their innings with Simon Cox making 79 and Neville Allen 70 as Adrian Parker took 8-68. The Keighley side's reply saw Tony Crook score 41 and Parker 37 as Jonathan Brewin took 5-65 and Ian Wellock 5-112.

The game at Street Lane was short and sweet to say the least. Nine-man visitors, Jimmy Nelson's, were hustled out for just 22 in 10 overs, with Anthony Haigh taking 4-7 and Chris Walker 4-8. The Ingrow St John's galloped home by eight wickets in just 20 balls.

Division Three leaders, Barrowford were on impressive form with the bat at Long Lee. They saw Matthew Barnes score 111 as Long Lee reached 220, but David Wilkinson 57, Nigel Hargreaves 50no and N Burton 43 powered Barrowoford to a fine six-wicket win.

Second placed Oakworth restricted Pendle Forest to 104 at Cure Hill. Roland Lyons with 54 contributing over half the total as Chris White took 3-17. Steve Powell with 53 was the backbone of the successful six-wicket reply.

Third placed Embsay were put to the sword by Ingrow St John's at Shires Lane. A superb 135no, which included 6 sixes and 13 fours, by Z Ali and 68 by M Hussain helped the Saints to a massive 280-6. The pair put on 153 for the fourth wicket.

The homesters managed a creditable 201-9 in their reply with David Barrett scoring a fine 71no, and Hussain taking 3-32

At Cowling, Trevor Cox (62) helped Airedale to 169-8. Then old campaigner Steve Dolby's legs ran out of steam, he ran himself out on 97 as the homesters romped home by eight-wickets.

Haworth just saw off the challenge of Cullingworth, winning by 13 runs. The Bronte side posted 118 with Dave Walsh making 32 and Glenn Ogden 31. Rodney Hogg 5-54 and N Smith 5-64 shared the wickets. In Cullingworth's reply Tony Dimuantes scored 37 as Craig Ogden took 4-23.

Thornton entertained Skipton CI and held them to 153. M Seward top scored with 27 as Malc Holt finished with 6-42. James Cowgill made 79no to help the Booth Bridge Lane side to the spoils by four wickets.

Bradley stay top of Division Four after defeating Ingrow despite a six-wicket haul for H Williamson. Bradley set a target of 172 and A Walmsley took 7-49 as Ingrow were dismissed for 123.

Glusburn's run machine, Matt Lloyd was in the runs again as they entertained Cononley. He made a magnificent 165no as the home side plundered 299-3 before declaring with 10 overs of their allocation left. He put on 198 for the fourth wicket with T Akbar who finished on 85no. Youngster Michael Beer made 82 as the visitors replied with 163, with Ian Shoesmith taking 4-30.

Denholme's mini revival continues, they entertained Sutton and amassed 235-6. Ian Smith made 62no, Paul Armitage 60 and L Toole 58 as Ben Airey claimed 4-87. The visitors made a spirited reply and closed on 190 all out. Malcolm Ellison scoring 90 as James Wilkinson took 6-37.

In the basement battle Gargrave got the better of visitors Keighley TC, winning by 34 in a low scoring game

The game between the two third teams of Pendle Forest and Long Lee went the way of the Keighley side by four wickets. Highlights for the winners were 6-27 by Neil Butterfield and 30no by 13-year-old Mark Portlock.

The Red Rose clash at Foulridge saw visitors Chatburn win by 28 runs.
