ALISTAIR HOULDSWORTH has been selected to play for Yorkshire in the Under-16 'Roses' clash with Lancashire at Ashton-under-Lyne on Monday.
The Keighley Golf Club member is just 16 years of age but plays of a handicap of just 2.7 shots and was recently the only player from the Bradford district to qualify for the English Boys Championship at Rotherham. He was recently fifth in the bradford Amateur Championship and scored a hole-in-one on seventh hole at Bingley St Ives while playing in the club's scratch competition.
