Pupils at a Keighley school are enjoying a new form of learning designed to enhance the power of the brain.
Year three and four pupils at Worth Valley Primary School have entered the"'brain gym", in which the children spend 20 minutes at a time aiming to make full use of their brainpower. Learning mentor Cath Hawley, who is in charge of the scheme, described the "brain gym" as a series of quick, fun and effective movements which enhanced the learning potential of the brain.
The scheme began around two months ago and the school has been more than pleased with the results.
Mrs Hawley said: "The pupils have responded very well to the 'brain gym' and we intend to expand the course to the whole school."
Trying out their brain exercises at Worth Valley Primary School are Cath Hawley and Alan Heath, with pupils, from left, Lauren Bell, Cassie North, Darren Smith and Samuel Smith
