Danny Forrest has hit the net two weeks before the big kick-off.

City have set up a personal Internet site for the starlet striker, allowing fans to follow his progress through the ranks.

The site was the brainchild of club secretary Jon Pollard who got the idea from clubs like Sunderland where there are special web-pages focusing on home-grown youngsters.

Forrest said: "I've got access to the net at home and go on all these football and music websites. It's a bit weird having one for myself.

"I used to go on Stuart McCall's quite a lot when I was a fan. I used to read his diary and see what he got up to which was interesting.

"I'm not too sure what will go on mine but I'll try to tell people what it's been like growing up in football and happily answer any questions. And there will probably be a few embarrassing pictures as well."

The web fame will increase the spotlight on the teenager who shot to fame last term, scoring three times including the goal of the season against Walsall.

Forrest's site is already proving a hit with City fans. Within days of going on-line, he had been contacted by a former school pal now on army duty in the Gulf.

Forrest's page has not got its own address yet but can be reached via a link from the club's official website, www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk
