Police are hunting a man who punched a 15-year-old boy and stole his wallet.

It was the second time the boy had been robbed in less than two months - on both occasions in Spring Gardens Lane in Keighley.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the latest robbery happened at 8.30am on Monday, June 23, when the boy was approached by three Asian men, one of whom asked him to hand over his mobile phone.

When he said he did not have one - it had been stolen in the first robbery - the man searched his pockets, took his wallet and then punched him in the face.

The one who hit the boy was aged 17 or 18, stocky with a bald head and a scar running down his left cheek to under his bottom lip.

The spokesman said the same boy was robbed of his mobile phone in the same street on Thursday, May 1, when he and a friend were approached by three Asians at about 3.30pm.

The teenager was kicked and punched before his phone was stolen. The suspects were aged 17 or 18 and of medium build.
