Bradford radio listeners will soon be hearing a lot more of Bulls skipper Robbie Paul.

The all-conquering Bulls ace is never short of a word to say, which will come in handy when he joins his local radio station, The Pulse of West Yorkshire, as a regular weekend presenter in the new year.

Paul, pictured, is no stranger to the airwaves, having been a frequent guest at the station during his time at the Bulls.

To date, the Kiwi international's off-field activities have included the formation of a band and the recording of an album with brother Henry and a rap solo on the club anthem Run With The Bulls.

Pulse programme controller Simon Walkington believes the show will be popular, not just with the Bulls' fans.

"Robbie's a great entertainer on the field, but he's just as good off it," said Walkington. "Anyone who's ever had a conversation with him knows how funny he can be."

The show is expected to be music-driven featuring guests drawn from Paul's extensive list of sporting contacts.

Tentatively labelled 'Robbie's Power Hour' it is due to run on Sundays from mid-January.

Paul said he was looking forward to getting into the studio.

"Usually when I've been to The Pulse it's been early mornings - and anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm not great first thing, so the only demand I made was that they give me a good lie-in.

"And I promise I won't only be playing my own records!"
