Keighley Library played host to a film crew.
The cameras, from the Basic Skills Agency, were filming children and mothers from the Step into Learning group, based at Victoria Primary School.
The group is a pilot scheme run by Julie Fowley and Linda Gregory, of Sure Start.
It aims to help those who learn English as a second language to teach their young children at the same time.
During the six-week course the group used the "Very Hungry Caterpillar", by Eric Carle, to promote healthy eating.
Members also created a story sack, containing games and resources, to help make a story come to life.
The group did a presentation in Castle Read-A-Lot -- the children's section of the library -- to the cameras using the story sack as a visual aid.
Janet Halse, from the Basic Skills Agency, said: "Sure Start has helped the Basic Skills Agency to pilot this family literacy learning and numeracy programme.
"We will now be using this filming of the group in a training video which will be circulated nationally."
