Menston Bowling Club members are looking forward to Thursday, April 1, when the 2004 bowls season begins.
Their first Airdale and Wharfedale League match will take place on Saturday, April 10.
Social bowling will become a regular occurrence taking place each weekday afternoon with friendly matches on most Tuesdays.
This year is the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Menston Bowls Club at the village's Kirklands green.
Plans are currently being made to celebrate this event.
Club competitions will be arranged to take place during May, June and July.
The Finals Day will be staged on August 29.
