THREE Keighley-based karate stars collected gold medals at the sport's national championships last weekend.
Paul Newby, Cain Canning and Ben Bottomley were all crowned champions during the English Karate Championships after competing against the best in the country at the English national Championships in Sheffield.
New took the Super Lightweight crown, Canning was Light Middleweight champion and Ben Bottomely took the Junior Light Middleweight crown.
They are all members of the Seidokan club which meets at Silsden and Bingley. Clubmate Phil Biggs reached the quarter-final of the Heavyweight section.
Sixteen-year-old Khuram Ilyas took third place in the Youth Under-60 Kilo section, in his first major competition. Khuram is the son of former champion Mo Ilyas leader of the Bismillah Club at Haworth, who is now also coach of the SKU national squad.
