It's still a joke, but after years of comments Bradford design student Susan Hogan is poised for a career as a Britney Spears lookalike. The 21-year-old has been snapped up by an agency and hopes to raise some extra money to see her through col-lege. "People have been saying I look like her for about four years now, including all my boy-friend's friends," she said."After the picture was sent in, I didn't expect anything to come from it. In fact I am a bit embarrassed. "But I am not taking it too seriously and if it makes some extra money then I may as well give it a go."A Britney fan herself, Susan, of Bolton Road, Bolton, plans to see the superstar singer in Manchester during her UK tour next month. But although they dress similarly, Susan says she does not copy the chart-topper.She also has blue eyes, not brown like Britney's, and still has the trademark blonde locks while Britney has gone temporarily brunette.Susan, a former Hanson School and Bradford College pupil, said: "I do have low-cut jeans and T-shirts, but I don't copy her. I can't afford to - I'm a student. I might have to wear coloured contact lenses when I go for my professional photographs!"A second-year student at Manch-ester Metropolitan University, Susan is used to people's reac-tion to her as a dead ringer."Bar staff sometimes do a double take when I order a drink and I can see them look-ing straight at me," she said. "And our neighbours used to tell my parents I looked like her, but I never took any no-tice."I'm still in shock really. My boyfriend laughs about it too."Eventually she hopes to become an illustrator and work in interiors.Danielle Constan-tine, the boss of lookalike agency A-listers in Bradford, said at the moment Susan would not need to dye her hair - though the top-level doubles would. She has four Britneys on her books and said she ex-pected demands for brunette Britneys to start arriving shortly. The top Britney earner looks and sings like the super-star and is now considering a hair colour change, she said."Susan is just starting out but she has such quality," she said. "We reject nine out of ten applications, so that is a meas-ure of how highly we rate her. She naturally looks like Brit-ney which is a huge asset."
