Bikers from across the UK will converge on Keighley on Sunday for the annual Colin Appleyard Motorcycles Goldwing Day.

The event is now recognised as the start of the Goldwing season and regularly attracts more than 300 owners and their machines.

Various competitions -- including best bike -- will be staged throughout the day and there will be a collection to be split between the Manorlands Sue Ryder hospice and NABD, a charity for disabled bikers.

Stuart Feeny, the event organiser and director of Colin Appleyard Motorcycles, said: "Having just checked the weather forecast, high pressure is due to dominate this weekend and if this is the case we can expect a very good turnout indeed.

"However, whatever the weather, it's sure to be a great day and to see all those fantastic Goldwings being ridden around Keighley is sure to turn a few heads."

Anyone wishing to attend Sunday's event, from 10am-4pm, should phone Mr Feeny on 01535 606311 for details.
