The Harden-based Valley Group is enjoying life in the fast lane.

It has won a contract to produce an extensive range of promotional and media items for the British American Tobacco (BAT) Lucky Strike Honda Formula One team.

The company, which also has a plant in Keighley, is turning out all the communications and hospitality materials for the 18 rounds of this year's FIA Formula One World Championship.

The items -- ranging from packaging and press packs to driver biography cards -- are all branded in the distinctive red, white, black and olive Lucky Strike corporate colours.

Jeremy Richens, creative manager at Lucky Strike Racing, said: "We have stringent standards of quality and needed a proactive company offering quality, speed and flexibility.

"The Lucky Strike Honda F1 team places great emphasis on being technically advanced - we expect the same from our working partners, and Valley provides this.

"Their expertise, with a wide range of printing systems, gives added flexibility and they provide first class account management.

"We are based in Central London and my first instinct was to say 'no' to a northern-based supplier because of simple logistics.

"However any doubts have been completely ruled out as the work is carried out highly efficiently and communication links are excellent, with dedicated points of contact who know and understand all aspects of the job and are up to speed at any point in time. We're delighted with the working relationship."

James Haggas, Valley's sales director, said: "The Lucky Strike project is a stunning piece of creative work; it's imperative we continue that quality and are proactive in assisting with creative input as well as being fast in reacting -- often working round the clock to meet very tight timescales."
