IT all started with a battered 1922 Silver Ghost spotted in a car auction at Brandesburton and now more than 50 cars make up the vintage collection owned by Keighley businessman Peter Black.

On the afternoon of Sunday April 25, the entire collection, which is stored at Cross Hills and features a Cadillac previously owned by Elvis Presley and cars regularly used in ITV's Heartbeat, will be on show for all car enthusiasts.

The collection is not normally open to the public and has to be seen to be fully appreciated. A multitude of classic American cars will be on display alongside sleek and sporty Mercedes-Benz and examples of early motor cars. Proceeds from the open day will go to Bolton Priory.
