After recovering from a medial knee ligament injury that kept him out of the opening rounds of Super League, former Kiwi international Logan Swann is happy just to have two good legs to run around on.

But the 25-Test veteran (including ten against Australia) is picking a Kiwi team that includes Bradford's Robbie Paul and Lesley Vainikolo to grow the proverbial extra leg in tomorrow morning's ANZAC Test.

"You can get caught up in the moment and the pride in representing your country really plays a part in how well you play on the day and how well you dominate the other team," said Swann.

"You tend to grow an extra leg and an extra lung. If you run around in top gear for the whole match that can surprise the Australian team and put them under pressure. If the Kiwi boys don't take their foot off the gas it will be very interesting."

Swann has admitted he was probably the only Bulls player not to be too disapointed when St Helens' stars failed to show for the Easter Monday shocker against the Bulls.

"It was disappointing because everyone was looking forward to a physical, intense game but it probably benefited me that they threw out a second string team," he said.

"Coming back a little bit earlier than expected from my ligament injury, it was good to be able to run around and not be tested as well as we could have been. It was good for the knee to come back into a game that wasn't so full-on and intense."

And Swann isn't expecting any further problems from his troublesome knee.

"The knee is good. I'm really happy with the way it has healed. Obviously it is not going to be 100 per cent for another couple of weeks but I am very happy with it at the moment."

With only one Super League match to his credit, Swann is yet to fully adapt to the British game but feels summer rugby will suit his game.

"I've put the offloads and the passing to bed at the moment because most of the time I can't feel my fingers but when the weather comes good that ability should start to come out."

Bulls predictions for tomorrow's Test: Logan Swann: Kiwis 28-16, Tevita Vaikona: Kiwis 26-20, Joe Vagana: Kiwis 18-10, Mick Withers: Kangaroos: 28-12.
