More than 100 ten-pin bowlers from across the county were looking to strike gold when they came to Keighley.
The Special Olympian bowlers were at the AMF Bowl on Saturday for the Yorkshire and Humberside annual ten-pin bowling competition.
Among the athletes were local bowlers Graeme Cunningham, Stephen Thorne and Neil McCullum.
But despite the home advantage, neither the trio nor the 20-plus strong team of bowlers from Bradford were able to take home any of the medals.
Following the event, 28 competitors, including ten from Bradford, were chosen to compete at the British Special Games in Glasgow next year.
Rob Carter, sports development officer for Bradford Sport and Recreation Association for People with Disabilities, said: "We have got a good representation from Bradford but unfortunately we didn't get anything in our own event."
