YOUNG Keighley tennis players are aiming to make it a championship double this weekend.
Keighley Tennis Club's Under-18 and Under-15 teams have both reached the finals of the Bradford Parks Junior Tennis League.
They both booked their place in the finals with semi-final victories on Saturday with the Under-18s beating Heaton on count-back after a thrilling match. The contest ended 3-3, but Keighley had won 31 games to Heaton's 28 with all the games keenly fought with some high quality tennis.
The successful team was: George Sedlak, Adam McLean, Robert McLean and James Heselwood.
The Under-15s also beat Heaton in another match where all the players gave everything to produce a very entertaining morning's tennis. The team was: Joe Murgatroyd, Matthew Sayer, Patrick Tucker and Will Greenwood.
Both finals are to be played on Saturday with the Under-18s taking on Salts Grammar School at Keighley, while the Under-15s take on Tranmere Tennis Club away.
