Gomersal timed their run-chase to perfection in Division One.

Visitors Pudsey St Lawrence were out for 136 off the last ball of their 25 overs, Christopher Rhodes taking five for 38, and Gomersal won by seven wickets with an over to spare, Steve Pollard (61no) sharing an opening stand of 125 with Alan Sumner (56).

Undercliffe remain six points behind Gomersal in second place after shooting Lightcliffe out for 33, Simon Medd bagging five for 11 and Jed Dinn three for 12. Earlier Undercliffe had made 124 for six in their 25 overs, opener Warren Allitt scoring 56 not out and Andy Cookland 31.

Woodlands surprisingly ended up battling for a point with their last pair at the wicket at second-from-bottom Idle.

Dave Pearce (5-48) and Paul Howker (2-19) did the damage for Idle, who had made 116 for eight compared to Woodlands' 84 for nine.

Hanging Heaton pushed Woodlands back to fourth by winning at home to Farsley, Michael Royce hitting 37 for the Batley side, who triumphed by five wickets. Stephen Simpson made 39 for Farsley.

East Bierley leap-frogged Farsley with a comprehensive victory at nine-man Pudsey Congs. Paul Huddlestone (60) and Chris Hester (54) shared a 114 partnership for the second wicket in Bierley's 189 for five, and Hester completed a fine all-round match by taking four for 27 as the depleted Congs were dismissed for 74.

Cleckheaton moved into mid-table by defeating Yeadon by six wickets at Moorend.

William Darby made 48 not out in Yeadon's 132 for seven in 43 overs, but Cleckheaton's first four contributed well to their 144 for four in 39.1 overs.

There was no play at Wagon Lane where Bradford & Bingley were due to face Mirfield, but that was the only Division One game that failed to sart.

Sadly that was the case in five Division Two matches, but the important one was played, second-placed Bankfoot enjoying a comprehensive home win over third-placed Spen Victoria.

Only two Spen players made double figures as they were castled for 36, Paul Stothart taking five for 16 and Scott Smith five for 20.

The only other match in which there was play was at Saltaire, who defeated ten-man Windhill by 79 runs. Gunasiri Ambepitiyia had a fine match for the winners, scoring 47 and taking three for 11.
