Bradford City's 25-year season-ticket holders will get the chance to voice their frustration to the club.

The 900 fans who paid £2,500 each for the long-term offers are angry at the news they will have to find an additional £150 for next season's matches.

Administrators Kroll have said they are not in a position to honour the deals because of the club's cash-flow shortage.

It has provoked an angry reaction from some of City's most loyal fans with several claiming they will not shell out again. Steering committee front man Jim Brown is pushing the administrators to set up an open meeting to allow fans to air their grievances.

He said: "Hopefully we can announce a date in the next couple of days.

"There are no winners in this situation. I'm not happy about it but the only thing I can say is that it could have been worse.

"We don't want to fall out with anyone and that's why it is important that people get the chance to discuss their views. Anyone with difficulties about this can send letters personally to me and I will make sure they are shown to the administrators.

"But I've also suggested that an open meeting does take place so that everyone knows exactly what is going on."

Supporter Andrew Dean, a 25-year season-ticket holder, has warned the club leaders to expect a stormy evening.

"They should bring their flak jackets because I think you'll hear some strong views," he said. "I'm not sure that holding a meeting like this will make much difference but at least fans will have the opportunity to let off steam to someone.

"I will grudgingly pay my £150 but I know of a fair proportion of people who are going to refuse to do so.

"It's not so much finding the extra cost as the principle of the matter and being told that we have to pay twice for the privilege of watching City next season."
