Rawdon eased their relegation fears when they cantered to an eight wickets win over title chasing North Leeds on Saturday.

North Leeds made 172-9 struggling against the accuracy of Dennis Rock (4-47 off 19 overs) and J Hughes (3-49 off 13 overs).

Rawdon made a good start through Graham Dobson (23) and Bruce Percy (43) before Matthew Hutton proved a match winner with an unbeaten 56.

He shared an unbroken third wicket stand with Duncan Stow who made 37 not out.

Beckwithshaw maintained the pressure on the top two with a comfortable nine wickets win over Otley who fell for 107.

Doing the damage were Matthew Smart with 4-39 and Ben Quick with 3-7.

Beckwithshaw had an opening stand of 83 between Ben Quick (42) and Rob Wilkins (52 no) which set them on the victory trail.

Although Australian Lloyd Mash plundered 156 runs off 149 deliveries against Adel his side had to be content with four points.

This however keeps them at the top with a margin of seven points over North Leeds with Beckwithshaw a further two points behind.

Mash's century and a good knock of 40 from Toby Drummond set Bilton up for a total of 262-8 with the Adel bowlers toiling with little reward.

Tim Grey had the best return with 4-83 while Andy Patrick picked up 3-65.

Adel replied with 198-7 making a good recovery after losing their first three batsmen cheaply.

David Standring came to their rescue with a superb 91 not out and he shared a fourth wicket stand of 152 with Reggie Thomas (58).

Guiseley were grateful to Mark Best (76) and Paul Eachus (59) for rescuing them from 46-6 against local rivals Menston.

Former Guiseley bowler Martin Knowles bagged 6-80 off 22 overs but Guiseley recovered to make 219 all out.

Opener Adrian Fitzpatrick gave his side a good start with 46 but he lacked support and Menston held on at 166-7 to draw.

Hall Park crashed to yet another defeat and they look doomed for relegation.

They are the only side in all three divisions without a win to their name.

They made 214 all out against Green Lane who coasted home with five wickets in hand.

Australian Rohan Obst bowled well taking 4-50 off 17 overs as Park battled for runs, opener Simon Wilson making 61 and gaining support from Jamie Simpson with 82.

Lane however had their own batting aces and the Park bowlers struggled as S Hargreaves made 69 and Oliver Halliday 53.

Follifoot picked up five points from their drawn game with visitors Kirkstall Educational.

Mike Halmshaw hit 78 as Follifoot made 227-7 and he found allies in Brian Smart (55) and Australian Ben Waterman (48).

Kirkstall held on at 140-8 to gain a point with opener Colin Dettmer top scoring with 32 and number ten S Hudson making a valuable 25 not out.
