Bradford Bulls' visit to Hull tomorrow is the start of a critical four weeks for Brian Noble's side.

The Bulls are fourth, just two points behind their second-placed opponents, and coach Noble said: "It doesn't take an Einstein to understand that this is a very important game for us and it is the start of what could be a highly significant month.

"We have to travel to Leeds and Hull again in August and we have Wigan and Warrington at Odsal, so by the end of the month we will have a very good idea just where we are as we move into the play-offs.

"If we can get the win at Hull, then we would draw level with them on points and I am really looking forward to the game, really excited."

Hull won the first match between the pair this season 26-18 at Odsal on April 23, and Noble, pictured, confessed: "They are playing very well, both as individuals and collectively.

"They have done very well this season, particularly at home, and are handily placed to make their mark in the play-offs."

The Great Britain coach reckons that the Bulls' St George's Day defeat was a match that made people sit up and take notice of Shaun McRae's team.

And Noble admits: "It was a game we felt we should have won, particularly after being in control of things, but Hull showed just what sort of side they have become with a great last quarter.

"It certainly made people aware that perhaps this was the year they made the transition into a 'top-four' side and they have consolidated that throughout the season.

"They have some high-quality individuals - people like Richard Horne, Colin Best and Shaun Briscoe, and Paul King and Kirk Yeaman are going really well for them too.

"They are very comfortable with Shaun McRae's coaching and are sure to want to end his reign with a Grand Final appearance, but there is still a long way to go and we are going into the game with confidence."

While it would be a surprise if the Bulls were any different to the 17 who played against London last Sunday, Hull have added winger Gareth Raynor and prop Nick Scruton to the squad that won 44-20 at Salford City Reds.

Raynor was out with a knee injury and Scruton a hip injury.

McRae, who is being succeeded by John Kear at the end of the season, has also brought in 19-year-old Danny Hill.
