None of the top teams in Super League have managed to avoid untimely bouts of away-day blues, but the Bulls certainly can't afford to come down with anything ahead of Monday's trip to Hull.

And there'll be no excuse for it if they do, says chairman Chris Caisley. After all, it's just another game in a rectangle.

"I was a bit disappointed with the Leeds game following our performance against Wigan," admitted Caisley.

"It just goes to show that if you are not on your game you can get smashed by the top sides. We've done it to Wigan, and earlier in the season St Helens smashed Leeds 56-10. If you look at the scores, particularly away from home, these sort of results are quite possible. If one team gets on top of their game and the other team isn't, then they are quite capable of taking them to the cleaners - and that's what happened to us.

"But I never understand it. It is the same sized pitch. It is still a rectangle," he said.

"It is just a load of complete rubbish to me why this seems to happen. Things like the noise and opposing fans really shouldn't make a difference. It always amazes me that home advantage is seen as such a great thing. If we get ourselves right then we can go anywhere and do to teams what Leeds did to us.

"Arsenal have gone 40-odd games unbeaten and have been winning at home and away. They've proved that it really doesn't matter where you play. You can turn up at Old Trafford and play just as well as you do on your own paddock."

And Caisley is challenging the Bulls to get take revenge for the two losses earlier this season when they travel to Hull.

"We owe them one. And it is important to finish as high up as we can. We've only once finished below third since Super League started. It is a proud record that I'd like us to do what we can to carry on."
