Strikers Maria McArdle and Fatima Khatun gave City a hard time in a fiery opening period, but City's defence held fim withsome fine play from 14-year-old Sophie Taylor.
Michelle Harrison cominated at the back for Keighley, pairing up with Claire Priestley to deny the City attack.
McArdle drew first blood when a neatly placed pass from Becky Granger set her up to score the opening goal after 44 minutes.
From the kick off the same pair worked their magic a second time and secure a 2-0 half time lead for the Keighley side.
They took up where they had left off after the break with McArdle completing a well earned hat-trick.
