Bride and Prejudice (12a): the director of Bend It Like Beckham returns with a lighthearted musical blending Bollywood with Jane Austen.

Wimbledon (12a): Paul Bettany is a charming but anxious British tennis player winning his way to the final when he meets confident American player Kirsten Dunst. Love blossoms in this romantic comedy despite the involvement of quirky family and slimy agent.

Open Water (15): Jaws meets the Blair Witch Project as two divers get left behind by their boat, leaving them at the mercy of circling sharks.

Collateral (15): hitman Tom Cruise forces taxidriver Jimmy Fox to take him on a night of killings in Michael Mann's thriller.
