Steeton got back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Heckmondwyke.
After last week's disappointment, manager Paul Ettenfield got the right response as goals from veteran Mick Gillmartin and Chris Smith gave the locals a deserved victory.
The second string got their first win under their belts with a 1-0 victory over Littletown. Joynal Ali got the all important goal when he beat the advancing keeper in the second half. Chris Gelders and man of the match Anthony Fouldger went close to increasing the lead as the game wore on.
However the most pleasing thing from the game was the defensive display from the side with both Richard Ellis and Danny Head having fine games.
