Bradford Boys have dropped their first points of the season in the Under-15 Yorkshire Cup.

With their NUT English Schools' FA Trophy last-16 match at Gateshead looming on January 15, Bradford could only draw

1-1 with Leeds at Canal Road.

Lewis Chippendale (St Bede's) put Bradford ahead shortly after the break from a corner, and they were comfortably in control until the last minute when a Leeds corner caused confusion in the box.

The ball was virtually knocked in their net by three Bradford defenders who were attempting to clear.

The under-14s defeated Leeds 1-0, but that margin did not do the victors justice.

The goal came from Steven Kennedy (St Bede's), whose appearance off the bench changed the game. Elliot Holmes (St Bede's) scored a deserved hat-trick as Bradford notched a 3-2 victory at Nottingham in an Under-12 League match.

Nottingham levelled twice, but Bradford won in the closing stages.

The under-11s drew their friendly against another strong Nottingham side with a goal from Joe Gaughan (St Joseph's), who also hit the bar three times.

However, the B team triumphed 9-1 with goals from Colin Schofield (Trinity & All Saints), four, Thomas Ryszkowski (Poplars Farm), Matthew Bilney (Shipley CofE), Mathew Dyson (St Joseph's), Sheldon Brannon (Hill Top) and Damien Ivory (Horton Park).

Two super goals from Dominic McCory (St Bede's) gave Bradford under-13s a

2-1 West Yorkshire League victory at Leeds. Bradford had gone behind in the first minute.
