YOUNG table tennis star Mary Fuller is being tipped as an Olympic star of the future.

Mary, 12, who was last week named as the top Under-13 player in the country is to travel to Sheffield on Monday to help support London's bid for the 2012 Olympics.

Yorkshire Forward is backing London's bid for the games and is to give the district's most successful young sportsmen and women a £150 grant towards training, equipment and transport costs.

As part of their support for the bid Yorkshire forward are to give the grants to 20 12-year-olds.
