Keighley Ladies 3, Bradford Ladies 1 - Keighley completed a stunning double over local rivals Bradford who struggled to come to terms with the pace of the Marley-based team.
They launched an impressive opening onslaught with Maria McArdle and Shannon Foley going close in the first three minutes.
Bradford were kept under the cosh and Keighley got their reward when the Bradford keeper handled the ball outside her area on 11 minutes. Skipper Michelle Harrison made no mistake with the free kick, blasting the ball into the top left hand corner of the net.
A defensive errorve the talented Becky Granger the opportunityto pounce and supply a superb ball to Fatima Khatun who beat the keeper from 18 yards with a cheeky toe poke to secure a 2-0 lead at half time.
Bradford looked to increase their pressure after the break and goalkeeper Claire Atkinson was called on to make a string of quality saves. But the pressure finally took its toll when the vvisitors scored following an indirect free kick.
The home side survived a hectic period as Bradford battled to get back on level terms, but it was Keighley who made certain of victory when McArdle raved onto a through ball from Khatun and shoot past the outstretched Bradford keeper.
