WHARFEDALE will aim to turn the tables on Moseley this Saturday when the in-form Birmingham side visit the Avenue.

Moseley ended Dale's run of six consecutive wins in November and now find themselves on an exact same winning streak which has lifted them above the Greens.

Their run is a current club record since they joined the Courage League structure and includes the only defeat inflicted on leaders Doncaster.

Dale have lost their two other encounters with Moseley, so the Greens will not be short of incentives as they seek to get two consecutive defeats out of their system.

Coach Peter Hartley was happy with last week's performance at Blackheath, but obviously not the result, as his side lost 17-10.

"Whereas in our previous defeat at Bracknell we deserved to lose, on another day at Blackheath we could have had three or four tries. We created lots of chances and there were good performances from the mid-field backs," said Hartley, singling out Chris Malherbe and Andy Baggett.

He conceded wrong options may have been taken on occasion, but defended the decision to reject three penalties within kicking distance in favour of going for tries which failed to materialise.

"With hindsight, you might do things differently, but if it comes off, you are a hero, and if it doesn't, everyone is ready to say you should have done something else. I was not duly unhappy with the decisions," said Hartley.
