Paul Gott of Crown (Wyke) hit four goals in his team's victory over top-of-the-table Bishop Rovers in Division 2A.

Crown were always in front and even though Zahid Youniss pulled a goal back for Rovers, a further goal from goalkeeper David Bernard from the penalty spot allowed Crown to take the points and close the gap at the top of the table to three points.

Saltaire Rangers, who have title ambitions of their own, visited Wyke Wanderers and enjoyed a comprenshive 4-0 victory. Goal machine Brent Netzler netted a hat-trick and Rob Kelly also scored.

The top-of-the-table clash between Oddfellows Athletic and previously unbeaten Laisterdyke in Division 2B matched expectations.

Losing 1-0 at the break, Athletic were a different team in the second half and the Taylor brothers soon got on the scoresheet, Paul bagging two and Phil one. Further goals from Darren Allsopp and Kenneth Brown saw Athletic stretch their lead at the top to eight points.

Paradise Farm were surprisingly beaten by Move-It. Mal Myers scored four for the home team and Martin Pullan also netted four for the visitors.

Tyersal surprised Oakworth, who last week ended Oddfellows' unbeaten record in the league, by taking the lead after ten minutes through Darren Moore.

Oakworth equalised before half-time and added three more goals in the last ten minutes to give a flattering look to the final scoreline.

Holmewood Athletic took their 100 per cent record in Division 3A to second-placed Greengates Albion.

Athletic opened the scoring but Paul Kelly equalised before Lee Mathews hit the match-winner to move Albion three points clear at the top - with Athletic having four matches in hand.

Idle United had a fine win at One in Twelve, Craig Reardon and Lee Glenn scoring for the home team.

Idle's Chris White clinched the game for the visitors with ten minutes remaining.

Albion Sports Juniors' improvement, which has seen them remain unbeaten for six games, reached new heights when they overcame Division Four leaders Koba 5-2.
