SILSDEN beat Derbyshire side New Mills 2-0 on Tuesday evening to second three vital points.
Andy Holden and Dale Hoyle hit the target in a match which saw Adam Reed return to the side and produce a top performance.
Manager Andy Geary said: "Everyone worked hard for the team, but I am looking no further than the next game."
Last night (Thursday) they were due to entertain league leaders Cammel Laird at Cougar Park and tomorrow they travel to Daisy Hill and play Flixton (away) on Tuesday.
The club is to launch an Under-19s side next season and are searching for a coach to take command of the team. The will play in the Northern Under-19s Alliance League with most games in midweek.
"We need a manager or coach with a minimum Grade 1 coaching certificate," Andy Geary said.
