Bulls coach Brian Noble is on the way to curing the pain in his mouth.

Now he wants to ease the pain in his side.

Noble, who has had two fillings this week but still requires some root work, is conscious that a fourth defeat in a row would be the Bulls' worst run for ten years.

And Huddersfield Giants will be out to end a losing run of their own, having never beaten the Bulls in Super League in 17 attempts.

The last time the Bulls lost four consecutive matches was in rugby league's centenary season in 1995-96.

Then they lost 22-18 at home to Halifax in a game that was played at the McAlpine Stadium because Odsal was frozen, and followed that with defeats at Sheffield Eagles, Castleford and Wigan. The Bulls have currently been beaten by Leeds Rhinos at Odsal and St Helens and Warrington away.

But Noble, who confesses not to feel the pressure, admitted: "We have to get away from the mindset that we just turn up and win because we are the Bulls. We need to approach every game with the same desire."

He added: "It is not pressure that we feel from outside. It is the pressure that we put on ourselves in terms of the players and the coaching staff.

"We haven't made an ideal start to the season, but all our problems are fixable. It is down to individual application both mentally and physically."

Noble said that the emotion of tomorrow's game - which is being dedicated to Bulls servant and Bradford Northern legend Trevor Foster - has not played a specific part in his team talks.

But he added: "I have no objection if any of the players want to think for

a while about what Trevor has meant to this club if it will help them

prepare."
